Approach

Amy believes therapy begins by meeting people exactly where they are—with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. She sees herself as someone who walks alongside clients as they navigate difficult experiences, offering validation, encouragement, and hope throughout the healing process.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that people heal when they feel genuinely understood. Amy creates a safe environment where clients can openly process their experiences while discovering their own resilience and capacity for growth.

Drawing from EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, she tailors treatment to each individual's unique needs. Whether someone is coping with trauma, grief, health concerns, or life transitions, Amy focuses on helping clients move forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and emotional well-being.

What to Expect

From your first session, Amy wants you to know that you are welcome exactly as you are. Whether therapy is completely new or something you've experienced before, her goal is to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and supported.

She believes you are the expert on your own life, and her role is to walk beside you as you work toward your goals. Through validation, thoughtful guidance, and genuine encouragement, Amy helps clients explore challenges while building practical tools for lasting growth and healing.

A Bit Outside the Office

Amy describes herself as an optimist who genuinely loves life. She enjoys trying new experiences, embracing challenges, and sharing a good laugh whenever possible.

Outside of work, she feels most grounded spending time outdoors with family and friends. An avid runner, cyclist, hiker, and sports enthusiast, she values staying active and connected with the people she loves. She also enjoys reading and rarely ends the day without reading at least one chapter of a good book.
