About Angie

Angie Tracy is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) with 14 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions.

Many of the individuals Angie works with are accustomed to carrying a great deal of responsibility for others while quietly struggling themselves. She frequently supports clients experiencing burnout, health anxiety, chronic pain or illness, infertility, relationship concerns, codependency, substance misuse, and work-life balance challenges. She is especially passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves, develop healthier boundaries, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Known for her authentic, down-to-earth style, Angie creates a space where clients can be honest about what they are carrying without fear of judgment. She believes healing happens when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to show up as their full selves.

Approach

Angie takes a holistic, trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to therapy. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and tailors her work to each client's unique experiences, goals, and personality.

Her style is collaborative, conversational, and flexible. She views clients as the experts in their own lives and sees her role as helping support, guide, challenge, and empower them along the way. Angie incorporates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, narrative work, mindfulness practices, somatic techniques, and harm reduction strategies when appropriate.

She believes meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, honesty, and collaboration. While self-awareness is important, Angie also emphasizes practical tools, healthier boundaries, effective coping skills, and small, consistent steps that create lasting growth over time.

What to Expect

When beginning therapy with Angie, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Early sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, exploring your goals, and identifying what support would be most helpful.

Angie understands that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, awkward, or intimidating, especially for people who are used to managing everything on their own. Her goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where clients feel comfortable asking questions, showing up authentically, and moving at a pace that feels right for them.

Therapy with Angie is collaborative and individualized. Together, you'll identify what is working, what is not, and what meaningful changes you would like to make moving forward.

A Bit Outside the Office

Angie describes herself as authentic, open, and down-to-earth. She values honesty, humor, and genuine human connection, and believes people heal best when they feel safe enough to be themselves.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her beloved fur baby, Wicket. She recharges through creativity, crafting, painting, bowling, reality television, and simple joys like office supplies, stickers, and gnomes. She is also a firm believer in balance, laughter, and the restorative power of a good nap.

A Note from Angie

If you are feeling nervous about starting therapy, you are not alone. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning, and you do not need to show up as perfect.

My goal is to create a space where you can simply be yourself without fear of judgment. Therapy is not about having the right words or saying everything perfectly; it is about having a space where you can feel supported, understood, and honest about what you are carrying. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and together we can figure out what feels most helpful, supportive, and meaningful.
