About Annie
Annie brings a thoughtful, grounded, and relational approach to therapy, with a deep passion for helping individuals and couples better understand their relationships — both with others and with themselves. She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions, with a strong focus on how early attachment patterns shape current experiences.
She is especially passionate about helping clients explore interpersonal patterns, identity development, and emotional growth through a multicultural and relational lens. Annie believes that healing often begins with understanding how we learned to relate to others and how those patterns continue to show up in adulthood.
Her work is rooted in the belief that secure attachment starts within. Through therapy, clients can begin to recognize outdated emotional “systems,” build self-trust, and develop healthier ways of connecting in their relationships and within themselves.

Approach
Annie works from an attachment-based framework that emphasizes how early relationships shape internal beliefs, emotional responses, and relational patterns throughout life.
She helps clients understand their “internal working model” — the unconscious system that influences how they interpret relationships, respond emotionally, and navigate connection. Therapy becomes a space to gently observe these patterns in real time and begin practicing new, more secure ways of relating.
Her approach integrates Attachment-Based Therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), along with practical skills when helpful. She balances validation with accountability, supporting clients in moving through ambivalence and into meaningful change.
Together, sessions often focus on building emotional awareness, strengthening self-trust, and developing healthier relational dynamics that extend beyond the therapy space.
What to Expect
Your first session with Annie is focused on understanding your story — who you are, what brings you to therapy, and how she can best support you. There are no right or wrong answers, only openness and curiosity as you begin the process together.
As therapy progresses, you and Annie will work collaboratively to set goals, check in on progress, and explore patterns that may have previously felt stuck or automatic. Growth is approached with both compassion and structure, allowing space for insight, reflection, and actionable change.
A Bit Outside the Office
Outside of her work, Annie enjoys Pilates, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being with her two dogs, Finley and Wilson. These parts of her life reflect her appreciation for connection, movement, and grounding in everyday joy.
A Note from Annie
You don’t have to know how to do this alone.
Annie offers a supportive space where you and her can figure it out together with patience, curiosity, and a focus on building something more secure, both internally and in your relationships.
