Approach
Bryan’s approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He often uses Motivational Interviewing when supporting clients through change, helping them explore readiness, ambivalence, and personal goals in a supportive and structured way.
He believes clients ultimately hold the answers to their own challenges, and his role is to provide a safe, grounded space along with tools, reflection, and perspective that support insight and meaningful action. He also incorporates education around the stages of change and emotional regulation strategies to help clients better understand themselves and their behaviors.
What to Expect
Clients working with Bryan can expect a relaxed, honest, and supportive environment where they can talk openly without fear of judgment. Early sessions focus on building comfort, understanding current challenges, and exploring what the client hopes to change or better understand.
He emphasizes collaboration and works with clients to identify practical next steps that feel realistic and aligned with their goals.
A Bit Outside the Office
Outside of his clinical work, Bryan enjoys comic books and playing the drums.
A Note from Bryan
Bryan understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and he works intentionally to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported from the beginning.
