Dr. Moss works from a person-centered foundation, integrating CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.

He believes therapy works best when it is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in unconditional positive regard. His style is direct yet compassionate, offering honest feedback while maintaining a steady, encouraging presence.

He values client feedback throughout the process, including pacing and direction, ensuring therapy remains responsive to each individual’s needs and comfort level.

What to Expect

Early sessions with Dr. Moss focus on getting to know the client, understanding their goals, and determining whether the therapeutic fit feels right. He maintains a laid-back, open style and encourages clients to share feedback throughout treatment.

Clients can expect a balance of support and directness, with an emphasis on building self-efficacy, recognizing progress, and developing practical tools for change over time.
