About Jeff
Jeff brings a calm, steady, and deeply present approach to therapy, supporting adults and members of the LGBTQIA+ community as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions.
He is especially passionate about helping clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and build internal trust. His work often centers on individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to shift alone.
Jeff integrates nature-based perspectives into his work, drawing inspiration from Ecotherapy and the idea that connection to the natural world can support emotional healing, clarity, and a greater sense of belonging. He believes therapy is most powerful when it allows space for curiosity, stillness, and genuine self-exploration.

Approach
Jeff’s approach is trauma-informed, experiential, and grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
He works from the belief that each person has an internal system of “parts,” and that healing happens when we slow down enough to listen to those parts with curiosity rather than judgment. Rather than pushing for quick solutions, Jeff focuses on helping clients build awareness, emotional regulation, and a stronger connection to their core sense of Self.
He also integrates ecotherapy principles, using nature-based awareness as a tool for grounding, perspective, and emotional regulation. His style is paced, reflective, and supportive of deeper internal work.
What to Expect
The first few sessions with Jeff are focused on building connection, understanding your story, and exploring what brings you to therapy. He typically recommends a commitment to the first three sessions to allow space for both client and therapist to get a feel for the relationship and approach.
During this time, you’ll talk about your goals, personal history, and what feels most important to focus on. Jeff will also share his approach and help you understand how therapy with him may unfold over time.
A Bit Outside the Office
Outside of his work, Jeff enjoys spending time in nature, walking his dog, connecting with friends, listening to music, and paper making. These practices reflect his appreciation for slowing down, creativity, and staying connected to everyday moments.
A Note from Jeff
Jeff deeply respects the courage it takes to begin therapy and recognizes that each person comes in with their own pace, comfort level, and readiness.
He offers a flexible, non-pressured space where clients can choose how deeply they want to go, whether that’s building coping skills, talking through daily stressors, or exploring deeper emotional patterns. This is your time, and he meets you where you are.
