Approach
Kevin takes a client-centered, strength-based approach to therapy. He believes that clients are the experts on their own lives, and his role is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore what is happening and decide what they want to change.
He values being present and collaborating with clients to develop insight, practical strategies, and tools they can carry with them outside of therapy. Kevin also helps clients slow down, identify what is within their control and what is not, and draw on their own strengths to overcome obstacles.
What to Expect
Clients can expect a welcoming, collaborative, and low-pressure atmosphere. Kevin focuses first on building rapport so that clients feel heard, accepted, and comfortable being themselves.
Together, you’ll explore what brought you to therapy, make space to understand what is happening beneath the surface, and identify strategies that feel realistic and useful. Kevin believes that feeling safe, being heard, and having a willingness to explore change are important parts of the process.
A Bit Outside the Office
Outside of therapy, Kevin enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He loves sports, hiking, gardening, reading, and watching movies. He brings the same laid-back, approachable, and genuine personality to life outside the office that clients experience in their work with him.
A Note from Kevin
You are not alone, and you don’t have to know all the answers or even know what to say. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, without pressure or judgment.
