About Krystle

Krystle Collins is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation (LISW-S) who specializes in supporting late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults and individuals who suspect they may be neurodivergent. She works primarily with adults and LGBTQIA+ clients navigating anxiety, identity exploration, and the process of understanding themselves in a world that often feels mismatched to how they naturally function.

Krystle is especially passionate about helping clients learn how to work with their neurodivergence rather than against it, supporting them in building self-understanding, self-acceptance, and more authentic ways of moving through life.

She believes therapy is most powerful when clients feel truly seen, understood, and connected.

Training & Credentials

  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S)

  • Master of Social Work (MSW), Ohio University

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Ohio University

  • Specialized experience working with ADHD and neurodivergent adults

  • Experience across private practice, community mental health, and inpatient/residential treatment settings

Approach

Krystle’s approach is direct, relational, and skills-focused, grounded in the belief that authentic human connection is the foundation of meaningful therapeutic change.

She often uses solution-focused strategies to help clients identify practical tools and next steps while also creating space for emotional processing and self-discovery. Her work emphasizes building insight, improving self-awareness, and developing strategies that support day-to-day functioning and long-term growth.

Krystle views therapy as a collaborative process where connection comes first and from that connection, meaningful change becomes possible.

What to Expect

In early sessions, Krystle keeps things relaxed and conversational. These sessions are used to get to know you, understand what brings you into therapy, and begin identifying goals together.

They are also an opportunity for you to get a sense of her style and decide whether the therapeutic fit feels right.

From there, sessions focus on building tools, understanding patterns, and supporting you in navigating life in a way that feels more aligned with who you are.

A Bit Outside the Office

Outside of therapy, Krystle enjoys reading, video games, and tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs). She values creativity, curiosity, and play as important parts of a balanced life.

A Note from Krystle

Krystle believes the hardest part of therapy is often just getting started.

She encourages clients to take things at their own pace, knowing that therapy is a space for exploration, humor, honesty, and growth. Her goal is to help you feel supported while you build the tools and confidence to navigate life more authentically.
